- As a side note, if you have Perl and the Camel Book, there is such a
- passwd replacement program in there. It handles shadow password files,
- multiple dictionaries (if you have them), sysadmin-definable bad patterns,
- etc. Works real nice, too. Before installing it, cops managed to crack
- quite a number of passwords here -- now, cops hasn't had much luck there.
- It even has hooks for you to set up password expiry.
